Fruitan — Player Handbook

Fruitan is a fast-paced arcade fruit-slicing game. Fruit are launched from the bottom of the screen — drag your cursor or finger across them to slice.

• Slice fruit to gain points.
• Avoid rotten fruit — slicing one costs a life and breaks your combo.
• Missing fruit (letting them fall) also costs a life in most modes.
• The run ends when lives reach zero, or when the timer expires in Classic.

• Each fruit sliced: +10 base points.
• Combo multiplier: slicing 3+ fruit in one swipe multiplies points (3× → 4× → …).
• Golden fruit (rare): +50 and triggers slow-motion.
• Rotten fruit hit: −1 life, combo resets to 0.

The server caps submitted scores at ~80 pts/sec + 500 as a basic anti-tamper measure. Honest gameplay is always under the cap.

• Classic — 3 lives, 60s timer. Balanced for new players.
• Hardcore — 1 life. One slip and the run ends. For top scores.
• Endless — 5 lives, no timer. Play as long as you can.

To qualify for the Holder Leaderboard (eligible for SOL rewards), connect a Solana wallet that holds at least 10,000 of the official Fruitan token.

• Click Log in or Press Start, then choose Holder Wallet (Phantom supported).
• Verification runs server-side and is read-only: we only check your public token balance — no signing, no approvals, no transactions.
• If your balance is below the threshold, choose Guest (X) instead to play and compete on the Guest leaderboard.

There are two parallel leaderboards, each split per mode (Classic / Hardcore / Endless):

• Holder Leaderboard — verified holders only. Eligible for SOL prizes. Players are ranked by their single highest score per wallet.
• Guest Leaderboard — anyone with an X username can compete. Ranked by highest score per X handle.

One entry per player — only your best run shows.

Top placements on the Holder Leaderboard at the end of each season earn SOL rewards, sent directly to the wallet listed on the leaderboard.

• Holder podium: 3 SOL · 2 SOL · 1 SOL for ranks 1, 2, 3.
• Guest top spot: 1 SOL for rank 1.
• Season cadence and prize updates are announced on @fruitandotfun.
• To stay eligible, keep your wallet holding ≥ 10,000 tokens through the end of the season.

Will my wallet be charged? No. Fruitan only reads your public token balance.

Is my wallet address public? A truncated form (e.g. Abc…XyZ) is shown on the Holder leaderboard.

Can I switch wallets? Yes — log out, then log in again with a different wallet.

Can I play without a wallet? Yes — choose Guest (X) and play with your X username.
